Apple crisp, apple pie, apple turnover, apple fritter, caramel apples… You name something with apple in it, I’m all over it. This smoothie recipe came from my true love of apple desserts. With the holidays over and New Year’s resolutions in full swing, I wanted to find a way to not fully break up with my apple cravings.

Apple Pie Smoothie

prep time: 4 minscook time: 1 minstotal time: 5 mins

ingredients:

  • 1/2 medium apple
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 scoops or 1 serving collagen peptides (or other protein powder)
  • 1 tbs almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1/2 tbs flaxseed
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Ice as needed

instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth
