Our Final Christmas Decor

It’s finally here! The day that my family flies into Portland, OR for Christmas! Now that the house is all put together and my decor is complete, I am so excited to show you my final Christmas look!

Since nothing is better than sharing the holiday with others, I decided to call up my dear friend, Noelle, to help bring my decor dreams to life!

Noelle has just finished interior design school and is working as an assistant to a local designer in Portland, OR. Since she has a little time between projects, I luckily snagged her to help give my Christmas dreams some direction.

[ Oh and do I even need to mention that her name is NOELLE?! I mean, come on.
It was meant to be! ]

HERE ARE THE FINAL DECOR IMAGES:

It was an absolute joy working with Noelle. It really makes the whole process
go so smoothly when your friend has the same eye for design as you.
I cannot thank her enough for helping me!
And to top it off, she had three great tips for how to tackle your holiday decorations!

NOELLE'S HOLIDAY
DECOR TIPS

1.Start with the area you will enjoy most. (Tree, mantel or whatever you see most often.)

2. Layer, layer, layer! Add dimension, texture and details. (For example, see the garland on the stairs and the mantle. By adding in similar tones of different branches, ribbons and bulbs, you can create a more visually interesting display than just the garland alone.)

3. Never underestimate a craft store! Higher end stores are amazing for some pieces, but don’t be scared to get creative! (Here is an example of how to get creative at the craft store: Use your tree trimmings to make a custom wreath)
